The Hoopoe is a migratory bird that can be found across Africa, Saudi Arabia, Asia and Europe, that boasts a large pastelle pink crest adorned with black and white tips, and the craziest black and white wings. Eve sketched this artwork (it's one of her favourite birds) after watching a solitary Hoopoe enjoy the back yard, pecking for food, and amusingly fluffing its impressive crown in between bites. Seeing one of these birds for the first time, is one of those moments to remember.
